Business Support Advisor
Large utility is looking for a Business Support Advisor in Jackson, MI. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in business and professional experience in project scheduling or administration to maintain complex project plans, monitor budgets, and manage documentation using Microsoft Office applications. education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor multiple project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Capture business requirements and evaluate data for the design of financial and business planning tools.
- Create templates and worksheets to facilitate input from various business units.
- Convert and reformat data into required technical formats for project integration.
- Coordinate, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings, design sessions, and technical discussions.
- Develop and monitor transition plans in collaboration with managers from operations, energy, and IT sectors.
- Identify transition risks and escalate critical issues to project leadership.
- Manage project documentation and ensure team compliance with internal project audits.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining meeting minutes and deadline/milestone reports.
- Prepare presentation materials and physical assets like project posters and rally room materials.
- Experience in project scheduling or administration
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge file management, transcription and other administrative procedures.
