Position Details

The Board of Education for Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools is in search of a new Superintendent/6-12 Principal.

The District: The Lake Linden-Hubbell Public School District, located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, serves a rural community from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, with approximately 338 students. Known as the “Lakes,” the district prides itself on offering a high-quality education with a dedicated faculty and staff. Despite its smaller size, Lake Linden-Hubbell provides a variety of opportunities, including Advanced Placement and CTE courses, early college programs in cooperation with Gogebic Community College, and unique hands-on learning experiences at its 400-acre school forest and log cabin classroom. Reflecting the strong support the district receives from its community, the community recently approved a bond of approximately $6.5 million to update existing facilities to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for our students and staff. The Administrative offices are located at 601 Calumet Street, in the middle-high school building.

Compensation: The Board will offer a comprehensive, multi-year contract. Compensation will be commensurate with experience of the successful candidate and requirements of the position. A preliminary salary range of $101,000 to $120,000 has been established.
