A vibrant, Michigan engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager for their Midland area office!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish
  
• Manage budget, track team expenses, and minimize exposure/risk
  
• Ensure construction activities follow schedule
  
• Create project work plans/revise as needed
  
• Coordinate project with all team members including architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers
  
• Monitor project progress on a regular basis
  
• Adhere to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards
  
• Inspect construction sites periodically
  
• Participate in safety programs
  
• Key contact for client
  
• Review deliverables before presenting to client
  
• Establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  
• Requisition supplies/materials
  
• Report project progress, costs and scheduling updates
  
• Assume responsibility for work outcomes and results of other workers
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and/or Engineering
  
• 8+ years of construction project management experience
  
• Design build experience
  
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
  
• Excellent mathematical skills
  
• Ability to implement/oversee technologies (BIM/LEAN principles)
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
