Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles within the manufacturing facility.
• Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive work environment on the plant floor.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and support operational efficiency.
• Oversee performance management processes, linking individual goals to production targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs focused on safety, skills development, and leadership for manufacturing supervisors and staff.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including hourly wage structures, shift differentials, and benefits enrollment.
• Drive workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance specific to manufacturing (e.g., OSHA, FLSA).
• Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management for production and skilled trade workforces.
• Strong ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with operational objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, alongside strong data analysis skills for HR metrics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with union relations or collective bargaining agreements.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local workforce (e.g., Spanish).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or strong background in industrial safety protocols.
