Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of manufactured parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation or part quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating 3-axis or 5-axis CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery, including tool changes and offsets.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and part inspection techniques.
• Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code programming for editing and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
• Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles
