Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts and capacity.
• Balance production capacity with customer demand, inventory targets, and material availability.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to align on scheduling priorities and constraints.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to prevent production delays or shortages.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and potential disruptions.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust the MPS to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery targets.
• Track and report on schedule adherence, production performance, and key inventory metrics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, and data analysis.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and inventory optimization principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams (sales, production, procurement).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems or simulation software.
• Demonstrated application of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for performance analysis.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
