Retail Shift Leader– Part Time
Sanders Candy – Rochester, MI
We have an opening for part time Key Holder at our beautiful Sanders retail store located in Rochester, MI. This is a great opportunity for anyone with a friendly, outgoing personality who wants to work in a fun, clean, environment that smells amazing!
Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work various shifts Monday through Sunday, including holidays as needed. The starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour and you will be eligible for a 20% employee discount!
As a Key Holder , you will be responsible for representing Sanders in a positive manner by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to all of our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Open and close store
• Interact with the public and provide exceptional service
• Back up to Store Manager in handling cash/deposits
• Assist in supervising sales associates
• Maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge and merchandising
• Prepare various treats and beverages according to guest specifications
• Follow proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, and serving products
• Perform cash handling procedures

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Must possess basic math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to work independently when necessary;
• Ability to learn and follow all health and safety regulations
• Display good work ethic and dependability.
• Previous retail experience a plus

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for hours at a time
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to regularly lift items, some could weigh up to 50 pounds
• Daily work requires standing, stair climbing, squatting, twisting, and bending
