Software Engineer - FMS Avionics

Job Description

We have an immediate need for an FMS/Avionics Software Engineer for any of our offices in Phoenix, Bothell, New Orleans, Grand Rapids or Cedar Rapids. This is a Hybrid position which will require you to work on-site three days a week and work remotely two days a week. This is a full-time position with great benefits including a 12% IRA contribution.

Pay Rate: $80,000-$140,000 DOE

Job Requirements

• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person , which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.


• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.


• Significant FMS/Avionics software experience is required


• Strong object-oriented language (C++ and/or ADA) and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)


• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities


• Strong communication and presentation skills


• Knowledge of DO-178 Development Standards
