Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Rochester, MI 48307 (Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Setting: LDRPN Unit
• Assignment Type: Contract (Travel nursing jobs)
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: December 6, 2025
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Hourly Pay Rate: $48-$62/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• At least 1 year of Cerner EMR experience
• Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care nursing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Michigan RN license (Michigan nursing jobs)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery of quality, compassionate patient care in labor and delivery
• Apply the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
• Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Participate in problem-solving and implement solutions for patient care variances
• Deliver care across labor, postpartum, and special care settings
