Buffet Stocker
:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the service areas and side stations in accordance with venue requirements and in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying quality guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Assists Food Servers in restocking any items required during service.
- Removes trash from and maintains cleanliness of all service related areas in the buffet.
- Assists food servers, during peak operating times, in pre-busing tables as required ONLY by management.
- Answers any guest questions and refers them, if necessary, to appropriate management personnel.
- Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
- Keeps sight lines neat and organized.
- Helps maintain par levels.
- Sweeps and mops if necessary.
- Keeps traffic areas free from clutter and debris.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment includes moderate exposure to slippery work surfaces and greasy areas.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment is typically smoky.
