Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality, cost-effective materials.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Implement inventory optimization strategies to support production schedules and minimize stockouts.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for all purchased goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and quality assurance principles.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a purchasing team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification or similar continuous improvement methodology experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated experience leading complex procurement projects.
• Experience with international sourcing, logistics, and navigating global trade regulations.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) beyond basic user functionality.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to key international supplier regions.
