Construction Laborer - Hemlock, MI

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Construction Laborers to contribute to the build-out of a new solar panel facility. This role involves supporting the foreman and superintendents with various tasks and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the foreman and superintendents with daily tasks.
• Participate in site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Stage, load, and unload construction materials as needed.
• Support pre-assembling and preparation work for trades workers.
• Coordinate and manage materials and inventory effectively.
• Assist mechanical and electrical trades positions with various tasks.
• Perform manual labor tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor and construction.
• Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with hand tools and understanding of construction trades.
• Experience with site cleanup and material staging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry and concrete work is a plus.
• Ability to work on daily task sheets and adhere to schedules.

The role is based on a construction site dedicated to building a new solar panel facility. The work environment is dynamic, requiring physical activity and the use of hand tools. Safety gear is provided and must be worn at all times. Work hours may vary based on project needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hemlock, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
