Overview:
Our company is a leader in products for the automotive and commercial industries. We are seeking a dedicated Quality Leader to join our team.
In this key role, you will oversee the quality department, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence while driving quality assurance model and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold our commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the quality department, overseeing 4-6 team members.
- Develop and implement quality assurance goals, standards, and methods to ensure compliance with industry requirements.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Ensure incoming materials meet companies’ standards.
- Drive permanent corrective actions throughout the facility with data supported facts.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to address quality issues and customer complaints.
- Promote lean manufacturing and six sigma principles to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Oversee gage calibration and testing programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in quality management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Quality Supervisor or Manager.
- Familiarity with QS and ISO requirements for automotive and non-automotive industries.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and ERP systems.
- Black Belt training is highly desired.
