Fullstack Software Engineer - Data Analytics

TEAM

The ADAS Simulation and Validation Tools group accelerates the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving software by building scalable simulation platforms, cloud infrastructure, and automated testing pipelines. Our tools enable global engineering teams to validate complex driving systems efficiently and with confidence.

Our team operates at the intersection of simulation, cloud engineering, and data analytics—solving challenges in automation, scalability, and system validation to support cutting-edge vehicle programs. A key focus is on building large-scale data workflows that ingest, transform, and analyze real-world and simulated driving data. We develop modern web applications that visualize critical performance metrics and help guide strategic decisions across the ADAS/AD lifecycle.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will also have experience with cloud infrastructure and data pipelines. In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and deployment of a web framework used to build data analytics applications. By championing best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring developers, you will play a key role in building our mission-critical AD/ADAS web tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a fullstack web framework for building data analytics web applications with React-based frontends and Python-based backends.
• Build scalable and reusable UI components and responsive interfaces for visualizing high-volume driving data.
• Design and implement backend libraries and a service integration SDK to simplify access to cloud-based microservices and data pipelines.

• Collaborate with autonomy, simulation, validation, and data engineering teams to define requirements, validate designs, and deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
• Support developers using the framework, helping them build new analytics applications quickly and effectively.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior developers and interns on the team.

• Drive performance, reliability, and usability improvements through testing, observability, and iterative development.
• Promote best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure consistency and quality across the codebase.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional fullstack web development experience in React-based frontends, Python backends, and data pipelines.

• Experience with Python in a web and data context
• Experience with the React ecosystem and its core principles, including hooks, context, the component lifecycle, popular React workflows (e.g., Redux, Recoil), and routing (e.g., React Router).
• Experience with SQL and data schema design.
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)

• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with data ingestion and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with NoSQL database systems such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)
• Experience with API design.
