Occupational Therapist K-12 School Setting (Howard City, MI)

This full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist position is available for the entire school year at a K-12 educational facility located in Howard City, Michigan. The role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels, supporting their development and classroom success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group occupational therapy interventions to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement tailored therapy plans
• Assess student needs and monitor progress, adjusting treatment strategies accordingly
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with developing 504 plans and IEPs as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials valid in the state of Michigan
• Experience working within school environments preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educational teams and families
• Knowledge of K-12 student developmental milestones and educational standards
• Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain organized records
