Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental programs.
• Maintain EHS records, prepare regulatory reports, and track key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) applicable to industrial operations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).
• Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience integrating EHS initiatives with Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence programs.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing comprehensive industrial hygiene programs.
• Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Cority) and data analytics for performance tracking.
