JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Site Leader supports the Site Leader in overseeing all operational aspects of the car wash facility. This includes assisting with budgeting, scheduling, team leadership, guest service, site maintenance, and adherence to company policies. The Assistant Site Leader will provide guidance to team members, ensuring a positive work environment while upholding operational excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership:
- Assist in leading daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and cleanliness.
- Uphold and enforce all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure a secure, well-maintained, and professional work environment.
- Monitor site performance, including wash quality, guest service, and compliance with standards.
Guest Experience & Service:
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest service and engagement.
- Ensure all team members provide quick, friendly, and high-quality service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Team Development & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor team members to drive performance and teamwork.
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members.
- Provide coaching and support to enhance team member development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Facility & Equipment Management:
- Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the site.
- Perform routine walkthroughs to identify and address issues.
- Ensure timely reporting and resolution of maintenance concerns.
- Oversee inventory management including restocking supplies.
Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling and managing labor hours to optimize productivity.
- Complete and update checklists, reports, and operational logs as required.
- Communicate effectively with leadership regarding operational successes, challenges, and equipment maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Other Responsibilities:
- Open and close the facility as scheduled.
- Support marketing, sales, and promotional initiatives as needed.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Site Leader.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or retail management experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Dependable, motivated, and a team player.
Physical demands & Work environment
This job operates in a professional retail environment. Car washing operating hours are Sunday through Saturday, operating a minimum of 14 hours per day. This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including indoor and outdoor work. You must be willing to work hard, build relationships and LOVE people! While performing the duties of this job, the team member must be:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinet and office machinery, etc.
- Able to effectively communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information.
- Able to move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.
- Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers, grasping and clench.
- Able to travel
Travel
Occasional travel may be required for training, marketing initiatives, and banking duties.
