HR Manager - Wayland Area

Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management.
- Develop and implement performance management systems and conduct annual reviews.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs, especially for safety, compliance, and technical skills.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as manufacturing-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Collaborate with operations to promote and enforce workplace health and safety protocols.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive HR Generalist experience (5+ years) with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management within an industrial setting.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations and HR compliance specific to manufacturing.
- Proven ability to develop and implement talent acquisition, training, and retention strategies for a diverse production workforce.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with plant leadership and engage with all levels of employees.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish), to support a diverse workforce.
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting.
- Certification in Change Management or Organizational Development.
