Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and output to achieve daily/weekly targets and deadlines.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the finishing area.
• Train and mentor finishing operators on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
• Oversee routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of finishing machinery and equipment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage material flow and inventory for finishing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing finishing department.
• Strong understanding of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, polishing, assembly) and quality control standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including training and performance evaluation.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize workflows, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices relevant to manufacturing environments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with automated finishing systems or robotics.
• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design or process layout.
• Formal training in preventative maintenance for finishing equipment.
