We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist for a friendly, modern, and patient-focused dental practice in the Auburn Hills area. Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and personable Dental Receptionist to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door or call our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and check them in/out efficiently
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
• Verify insurance benefits and process insurance claims
• Collect payments, co-pays, and manage patient billing
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic dental software (NexGen Preferred)
• Confirm upcoming appointments and manage recall system
• Handle general office administrative tasks and support the dental team as needed
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental/medical office (strongly preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (NexGen, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and positive
