Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Hudsonville, MI

Pay: $26-30/hr depending on experience

Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift Available

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through machine modification, machine building, and maintenance of production equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production and facility equipment
• Modify, build, and install machinery and equipment as required
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Maintain and repair down equipment to restore production quickly
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, controls, and circuits
• Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including repair and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including wiring and communication
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on systems ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC
• Support ammonia refrigeration systems as required
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Preventative maintenance and machine repair experience
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience with electrical schematics and controls
• VFD wiring and communication experience
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work in food manufacturing environment
