We're seeking a dedicated Local Cargo Van Driver to handle essential pickups and deliveries in the vibrant Southeastern Michigan region. Starting out of our Plymouth, MI location, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Job Summary

- Position: Local Cargo Van Driver

- Location: Plymouth, MI (with routes throughout Southeastern Michigan)

- Type: Full-time/

- Schedule: Flexible shifts, including potential evenings/weekends based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily pickups and deliveries of cargo using a company-provided cargo van.

- Navigate routes efficiently through Southeastern Michigan (e.g., Detroit metro, Ann Arbor, Flint areas).

- Ensure all loads are secure, documented, and delivered on time.

- Maintain vehicle logs, perform basic pre- and post-trip inspections, and report any issues promptly.

- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.

- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record—no major violations in the past 5 years.

- Minimum 3+ years of commercial driving experience (cargo van, delivery, or similar) or equivalent relevant experience.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

- Valid government-issued ID.

- Strong knowledge of Southeastern Michigan geography and traffic patterns.

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle loading/unloading.

- Reliable transportation to/from Plymouth, MI start location.

- Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
