Telemetry RN Job Details
- Position Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
- Location: Warren, Michigan 48093
- Unit: Extended Care Unit – Telemetry
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (option for up to 48 hours)
- Assignment Duration: 15 weeks (September 22, 2025 – January 3, 2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Float Assignment: Daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours; potential reassignment in 4-hour blocks
- Hourly Pay Rate: $47–$61/hr
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1690–$1740
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Telemetry RN or in a related specialty
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency in basic dysrhythmia testing
- Strong clinical skills and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the telemetry unit
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
- Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
- Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals
- Adapt to float assignments and potential reassignment every 4 hours as needed
