Location: Manistee

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Maintenance Technician to support commercial facility operations and equipment maintenance in the Manistee area. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in general building maintenance, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and commercial kitchen equipment repair.

This position offers a strong long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and supporting critical facility operations.

What You’ll Do

• Support maintenance and repair of building systems and facility equipment
• Perform maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including meat grinders, cubers, meat saws, slicers, and related equipment
• Complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Maintain lighting systems including bulbs and ballasts
• Perform fuel center UST inspections and dispenser maintenance
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as scanners, printers, scales, networks, UPS equipment, and server drives
• Respond to service calls and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and materials used
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Participate in technical and operational training programs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical repair
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude required
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment preferred
• Technical training or trade school experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and motor vehicle screenings

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 feet
• Ability to work in active commercial environments and varying conditions
