Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Novi, Michigan (ZIP 48374) – Detroit metro area healthcare jobs
• Facility Type: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Department
• Assignment: Travel/Locum Tenens Radiologic Technologist
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 3, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (5x8 hour shifts, 40 hours/week)
• On-Call: Required
• Overtime: May be required
• Technology: Siemens imaging systems, Cerner EMR
• Hourly Pay Rate: $27–$35/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500–$2560

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), including neurological case experience
• Experience in a comprehensive stroke facility preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Advanced ARRT registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)
• Strong sterile technique skills and experience prepping patients for interventional radiology procedures
• Preferred experience in vascular radiography

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare interventional radiology procedure rooms and equipment using sterile techniques
• Prepping patients and assisting physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Perform 3D imaging and ensure high-quality image delivery to PACS
• Administer prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions as directed
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after radiology procedures
• Maintain adequate radiology supplies and ensure proper storage
• Complete all documentation in the medical record and radiology information system
• Utilize independent judgment for imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices
• Assist with training new radiology personnel or students as needed
• Demonstrate team member standards of excellence, including open communication and a positive attitude
