Salary Range: $48,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products according to established procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final product inspections.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification
• Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMMs, vision systems)
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and data analysis
• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
