What You'll Be Doing:

As an Electrical Design Project Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and managing electrical design projects, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality project execution. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing electrical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry codes and best practices.
Performing equipment sizing, load calculations, and energy efficiency assessments.
Designing and optimizing lighting and electrical systems using BIM in Revit.
Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide expert technical guidance.
Overseeing electrical systems testing, energy modeling, and schematic design interpretation.
Ensuring timely and accurate project deliverables while managing multiple assignments.

What You Bring to the Team:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in electrical systems engineering, focusing on building systems.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office, with strong technical writing abilities.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with architectural and engineering design processes, building codes, and performance standards. Experience in healthcare, research, or critical environments is a plus.
Location: Ability to work from or relocate to the Grand Rapids or Detroit Metro area, with occasional travel to Royal Oak.
