Administrative Specialist
Berns Landscaping Services, Inc., a distinguished company with a rich history with over 40 years in delivering comprehensive landscaping, grounds, and tree maintenance services, is on the lookout for a committed Administrative Specialist. This role is pivotal to our operations, offering the chance to leave a significant mark through exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, with a strong focus on customer service and database management.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and follow-up on customer service requests.
- Support the sales team with estimates and customer follow-up.
- Generate and reconcile purchase orders, and perform various administrative tasks as required.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintain office files.
- Provide operations and sales support.
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
- Prepare correspondence and proofread documents.
- Operate company software, Microsoft Office suite, and standard office equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience involving office practices, customer service, and organizational operating procedures.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software packages.
- Excellent communication skills and superior customer service.
- Ability to prioritize, pay attention to detail, and solve problems.
- Well-organized, self-starter, and able to turn chaos into order quickly.
- Flexible, resourceful, and maintains a positive attitude.
