Position Title:
Tank Room Operator

Position Summary:
The Tank Room Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and routine monitoring of tank systems and related equipment. This role ensures continuous hot water or power generation while maintaining compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

· Operate, monitor, and control tank room and auxiliary equipment

· Start up, shut down, and adjust tank system as required

· Monitor control systems to ensure proper operation

· Maintain proper water levels and temperature for loading and soaking beans

· Identify and report equipment malfunctions or abnormal conditions

· Assist with minor repairs with maintenance staff as needed

· Respond appropriately to alarms, emergency situations, and system failures

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tank room environment

· Communicate operational issues to supervisors and team members

· Forklift operations for loading tanks

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to read gauges and operating manuals

· Experience with forklift operation

· Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
