Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA).
• Design, procure, and validate new tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for NPI.
• Manage and execute pilot production runs, prototypes, and first article inspections.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yield, quality, and cost during the NPI phase.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of new products from NPI to full-scale production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or New Product Introduction (NPI) role.
• Strong understanding and application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proven experience in process development, validation, and optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
• Proficiency with CAD software for tooling, fixture design, and manufacturing process layouts.
• Demonstrated project management skills for leading new product launches from concept to mass production.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, automation, or additive manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process capability and control.
• Experience collaborating with international manufacturing sites or global supply chains.
