Maintenance Technician | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Install, test, and commission new production machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of all work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and control systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including motor controls and power transmission.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and pipefitting systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or advanced troubleshooting.
• Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) and basic fabrication.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
