Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
• Grind, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
• AWS D1.1 or D1.6 certification (or equivalent) for structural steel or sheet metal.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated ability to weld various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced or specialized welding processes (e.g., TIG on exotic materials, robotic welding).
• AWS D1.X or other relevant advanced certifications (e.g., specific material certifications).
• Proficiency in blueprint reading for complex assemblies and advanced weld symbols.
• Experience with fabrication, fitting, or assembly in a manufacturing environment.
