The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates for various manufacturing roles including production, maintenance, engineering, and skilled trades.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and fit for a manufacturing environment.
• Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition creation to offer extension and onboarding support.
• Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with hiring regulations.
• Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Participate in industry-specific job fairs and community outreach to enhance the employer brand within the manufacturing sector.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, or skilled trades roles.
• Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates for specialized industrial positions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing industry operations, roles, and compensation trends.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse candidates and hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for specific manufacturing sectors (e.g., automotive, aerospace, food production).
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes, machinery, or skilled trades roles.
• Experience recruiting within a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in the local manufacturing workforce.
