Automotive Repair Technician

Tire Warehouse in Lake Orion has an opening for an experienced Automotive Repair Technician (ASE certifications are a premium).

Opportunity and position information: We will provide up to a $5,000 Sign-On/Relocation bonus, AND up to $55 an hour flat rate - all Customer pay – NO WARRANTY PAY!

• We pay above-dealership hourly pay scale and do not discount our labor for warranty work.
• Techs work only 5 days a week (some are Saturday), and those most highly efficient are often over 70 hours.

Tire Warehouse 250 N Park Blvd Lake Orion.

Responsibilities
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems.
- Utilize hand and power tools to efficiently complete repair tasks.
- Ensure alignment and proper functioning of powertrain components.
- Service and repair automotive electrical systems as needed.
- Utilize ASE Certification to uphold industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications
- ASE Certification is a Plus
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with power and hand tools
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, powertrain, alignment, and electrical systems
- Previous dealership experience preferred
- Ability to work with schematics and perform diesel engine repair
- Knowledge of auto body repair, welding, and GM vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills and commitment to quality maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $55.00 per hour
