Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure high availability of critical production systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, SCADA) and industrial control systems (ICS).
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect both IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing floor hardware, workstations, and user issues, ensuring minimal production disruption.
• Manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical manufacturing data and systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability of production IT.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand IT needs and support the integration of new technologies on the factory floor.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls) in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) systems such as SCADA, MES, and PLC connectivity.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions, and implementing basic cybersecurity best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial control systems (ICS).
• Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) networks and cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments.
• Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) specifically within a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
