Senior Software Engineer

Description

As a Senior Software Engineer for our Broker Portal, you'll lead the development of critical revenue-driving platforms used by external brokers and third-party originators. You'll leverage your expertise in Angular and TypeScript to build scalable front-end solutions while mentoring team members and championing best practices. Your technical leadership and ability to navigate mortgage industry concepts will directly impact platforms that generate company revenue.

About The Role

• Build and enhance the Broker Portal used by external brokers
• Implement solutions using Angular for UI and NestJS with NX-monorepo
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and scalable code with strong design patterns
• Lead pipeline automation and deployment processes using Terraform and Kubernetes
• Apply deep understanding of mortgage industry concepts to create tailored broker solutions
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to mid-level engineers on the team

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• 1+ years in a Senior engineering or developer title
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with NX for monorepo management
• Experience with Angular and NestJS patterns
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of scalable design patterns and best practices
• Proven ability to mentor others and lead technical discussions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the mortgage industry or with financial technology products
• Background in front-end architecture and design systems
• History of leading technical initiatives in an agile environment
