As a Security Guard - Retail in Roseville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 AM - 05:00 PMFri11:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the retail environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any unusual behavior or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a valdi drivers license for more than 1 year
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
