Who We’re Looking For: A Datawarehouse Architect in the greater Lansing, MI area; with expertise in Teradata Cloud, Business Objects, Power BI, and ETL. This is a 12 month contract position with high likelihood to extend. This is a hybrid on site role in Lansing, MI. To be considered for this position you must currently be within driving distance to Lansing, MI. Responsibilities:The Data Warehouse Architect will work with staff and system developers to ensure that the operational system database will support the data needs of the Data Warehouse, and the functionality needed to extract the needed data on a regular basis.
Work with staff to design and load the Data Warehouse database model to support the reporting and analytic needs.
As the operational project continues, work with technical and the operational staff to make needed changes to the data warehouse that may evolve from the operational system.
Work closely with staff to ensure that they are fully aware of the decisions and impacts involved in the supporting and/or enhancing the Data Warehouse models and can support and extend them by the end of the contract.
Perform application development tasks in support of building business intelligence applications and integrating data warehouse resources into other applications.
Provide database expertise to other application developers in close collaboration with DBAs and other data management staff.
Create data warehouse-based applications including reporting, dashboards and other information analysis, visualizations and delivery systems.
Extract, transform, and load systems to move data from the various operational systems in which it is collected to a cleansed, consolidated data warehouse.
Work with data warehouse reporting team members and end user query developers to design and improve database queries.
Work with agency requestors to define and develop new queries and provide training and technical support to both developers and end user query developers.
Work with end user requestors to understand their data needs and create and implement solutions to those needs.
Develop and present training classes for developers to better understand how to use the Teradata and BI development tools to create and implement reporting solution using the data warehouse.
Provide one on one support for developers and end users to assist them in accomplishing their federal data reporting needs. Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Teradata Cloud
3+ years of experience with Business Objects XI and/or Power BI
3+ years performing ETL processes

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $75 and $90. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
