Continuous Improvement Leader | Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI projects to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Coach and mentor manufacturing teams in the application of CI methodologies and tools.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting problem-solving and proactive change.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report CI project impact and savings.
• Design and deliver training programs on Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and other CI practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC).
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Minimum of 5 years of continuous improvement leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and drive sustainable change.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical process control and data analysis tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing environments.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent structured project management experience.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior CI practitioners or cross-functional teams.
