Job Title: Shot Blast Team Member

Location: Holland, MI

Pay: $17-20/hr

Schedule: 7am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shot Blast Team Member to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for supporting shot blasting operations and ensuring product quality throughout the finishing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect product quality before and during the shot blast process
• Perform grinding, plasma cutting, and general metal finishing tasks
• Operate hand tools, cranes, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Maintain consistent quality standards to meet customer expectations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production and quality issues
• Promote and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or shot blasting experience preferred
• Experience using hand tools, forklifts (hi-lo), and cranes is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Basic computer skills; ERP system experience (such as Epicor) is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
