Pay: $20-28/hr

Schedule: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday; OT on Friday 5am-1:30pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Custom Fabricator to join our conveyor manufacturing team. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and modifying custom conveyor systems and components based on engineering drawings and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom conveyor frames, supports, and components from steel or aluminum
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions
• Cut, form, fit, and assemble materials using saws, brakes, drills, and hand tools
• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding as required to complete assemblies
• Modify and customize conveyor systems to meet customer requirements
• Verify dimensions and quality of fabricated parts before final assembly
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate builds
• Troubleshoot fit-up or design issues and recommend solutions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety, quality, and lean manufacturing standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) preferred
• Experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to [weight] pounds and stand for extended periods
