Assembly Supervisor | Charlotte, MI

Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of assembly technicians to achieve production goals.
• Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of assembled products.
• Maintain quality control standards and identify root causes of assembly defects.
• Train new and existing assembly personnel on procedures, safety, and quality.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage material flow and ensure proper inventory levels for assembly operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, tools, and equipment, including blueprint/schematic interpretation.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience with quality control systems, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with automated assembly processes and robotics.
• Bilingualism (e.g., Spanish/English) to facilitate communication with a diverse workforce.
