Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing department operations, including painting, coating, polishing, and final inspection.
• Manage, train, and evaluate the performance of finishing technicians and operators.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications through rigorous inspection and process control.
• Develop and implement daily production schedules to optimize workflow, meet deadlines, and maximize efficiency.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Monitor equipment performance, coordinate preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues in the finishing area.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing finishing department, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, powder coating, assembly, deburring, final inspection).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train a production team to achieve quality and output targets.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality control, continuous improvement, and workplace safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills for production issues and workflow optimization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced automated finishing equipment or robotics.
• Proficiency with ERP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
