Project Engineer
Kforce has a client in Warren, MI that is seeking a Project Engineer who will be responsible for design and release engineering of exterior lighting components. This may include upfront design and development and/or program launch/current product continuous improvement execution. Summary: This person will be responsible for managing design and development of their components and working cross functionally with multiple other teams (studio/program team/purchasing/supplier quality/supplier/manufacturing/etc). The Project Engineer will own and manage their parts list and will work to meet all development milestones on time and with quality. They will lead root cause analysis and problem resolution of issues that range from warranty to assembly plant issues. The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading a PDT (Product Development Team) to drive issue resolution, quality improvement, cost reduction and design optimization.
