Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently and on schedule.
• Optimize production processes for increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved product quality.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of production supervisors and manufacturing staff.
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and inventory levels to maximize profitability.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and quality control standards across all production activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality departments to streamline workflows and resolve operational issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing operations leadership role.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse production teams.
• Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Experience managing operational budgets and driving cost reduction initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with automation and Industry 4.0 technologies
• Prior experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
