We are looking for a Director of Engineering and Operations who can provide senior leadership. This role would oversee business operations. This role bridges high-level company goals with hands-on work to make sure products are finished on time and within budget. We are a small CNC manufacturing company who prides ourselves on quality, on-time delivery and cost savings.
Core Responsibilities
- Managing: Leading production managers, production control, and technicians while setting clear work standards.
- Controlling Budgets: Tracking project costs, overseeing purchasing, and protecting profit margins.
- Scheduling Work: Building schedules based on labor capacity, material delivery, and client deadlines.
- Improving Processes: Using lean methods or metrics to reduce waste and increase output
Key Skills Needed
- 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain management.
- Strong skills in project planning, problem-solving, and communication.
- A strong background in CNC high precision machining and manufacturing
