Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for inventory management and optimization.
• Oversee procurement processes, supplier selection, and relationship management.
• Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing.
• Manage warehousing, logistics, and material handling operations.
• Analyze material usage, forecast demand, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Drive initiatives for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in material flow.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning systems for inventory and production control.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles, forecasting, S&OP, and logistics.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage teams and external suppliers.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize material flow and resolve supply chain disruptions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven experience with global sourcing and international logistics.
