Electrical Engineer | Holt, MI
Salary Range: $72,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and control system failures in production machinery.
- Develop, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and other automation components for production lines.
- Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, including budget and schedule management.
- Ensure all electrical installations and modifications comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NFPA 70E).
- Identify and implement continuous improvements for electrical systems to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development for industrial automation.
- Strong experience in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial control systems, motor controls, and power distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and panel layouts using CAD software.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial automation technologies, including PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
- Experience in robotics integration and programming for manufacturing applications.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and machine safety directives.
- Proficiency with specialized electrical design software such as EPLAN or SolidWorks Electrical.
