Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in a factory environment.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
• Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for all staff.
• Oversee benefits administration, payroll support, and leave management for a diverse manufacturing workforce.
• Coordinate and deliver HR-related training programs, focusing on safety, compliance, and professional development relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and support workplace safety initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and investigations in a diverse workforce.
• Experience recruiting for a range of manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, and technical positions.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety principles and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency, especially Spanish.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Direct experience with safety program administration or OSHA compliance in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with HRIS/timekeeping systems commonly used in production environments (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now).
