Territory Manager - Dock and Door
As the Territory Manager – Dock and Door, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations related to dock equipment and commercial doors. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial equipment sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients. Principle Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the dock equipment or commercial door industry.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
